In the dance solo Lieve Vreemdeling, a traveler takes the audience on her journey in search of a 'home.' The journey begins hopefully, but soon it becomes apparent that finding a sense of home is not so simple. Because you don't just feel at home anywhere... In fact, in many places, you can feel like a stranger. And what do you do then? Stay? Hoping to succeed in making a 'home,' or continue, travel further, flee?

The choreography Lieve Vreemdeling is a 15-minute dance solo that explores the quest for 'feeling safe' and the distance that often exists between groups with different backgrounds and cultures.
